Banana Muffins

Hi Friendz.. Today im gonna share the recipe for "Banana Muffins".. I tried this recipe for the first time & it came out so well. This muffin is healthy n also tasty with the natural banana flavor.. Everyone will like it for sure.


Ingredients :

   1     Maida     250 gms
   2     Eggs     5
   3     Sugar     250 gms
   4     Ripe Green Bananas         250 gms ( measured after mashing )    
   5     Baking Powder     1 teaspoon
   6     Baking Soda     1/2 teaspoon
   7     Oil     150 gms (any white oil)
   8        Banana Essence     1 teaspoon

Preparation :

1) Seive the Maida 3 times along with Baking Powder & Baking Soda. Keep it aside.
2) Grease the muffin tray with butter or oil, and dust it with some flour. I didn't have muffin tray, so i used porcelain tea cups.
3) Now take the mashed bananas in a bowl, and add sugar to it. Beat well till the sugar dissolves.
4) Take the eggs in a bowl & beat it well till it becomes fluffy. Pour this eggs to the banana mixture.
5) Add the banana essence along with this and mix well.
6) Preheat the oven for 10 minutes.
7) Now add the maida, little at a time and keep mixing it softly. (Don't beat after adding maida)
8) Add oil to this batter and mix well.
9) Fill the greased muffin cups with this batter till it reaches 3/4th level.
10) Now bake this in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes. Now insert a toothpick in the middle of the muffins, if it comes out clean, then the muffins are done. After 15 or 20 minutes, remove it from the cups & serve.
You can add any toppings or frostings as you wish. But it would taste good, even without any extras. I hope you liked this recipe, I'll meet you all with very soon, with another interesting recipe. Take Care... :-)
