Bread Gulab Jamun

Hi Friendz.. :-)

Today i have come up with a delicious dessert recipe, which can be cooked in just 15 minutes...!! Thats amazing know.. :-) Yeah, i was also surprised by its ease n awesome taste... In-fact, this is the most easiest dessert recipe i've ever done..!! All the ingredients are always available in our kitchen, so you can easily prepare this recipe any time, and amaze your family n friends.. :-)

Ok Ok.. I can hear you asking for the recipe, so we shall get into the recipe now..

Ingredients :

1	Bread slices	8-10
2	Milk	1/2 cup
3	Sugar	1 cup
4	Water	1 cup
5	Elaichi / Cardamon	2

Preparation :

1) Remove the brown color sides of the bread using a knife.
2) Crush the white part of the bread using your hands, into fine crumbs.
3) Now add milk to this crushed bread, little at a time and keep mixing it well, until it reaches a dough consistency.
4) Now make sugar syrup - Dissolve the sugar in water and let it boil. When it reaches one string consistency, Add crushed elaichi and switch off the stove.
5) Now make small balls out of the bread flour.
6) Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these balls.
7) Drop them into the sugar syrup and keep aside for 30 minutes, to let the jamuns absorb the sugar syrup.

Note :
1) Dont press the dough too much while making balls, handle it softly. Orelse the jamuns will become hard.
2) One string consistency : Put a drop of the syrup in your thumb and touch it with your index finger.When you pull apart your fingers, you must be able to see a string formed between your fingers.
3) Adding elaichi is optional, you can even add some essence if you wish.
