Beetroot Vadai

Hi friendz.. Today im gonna share a simple side dish recipe. It is apt for your Lunch box side dish. Beetroot is a rich source of antioxidants & nutrients. It is very healthy n tasty also.Lets get into the recipe now.

Ingredients :

    1    Beetroot     2 (medium sized)    
    2    Roasted Gram (Pottu Kadala)         1/2 cup
    3    Fennel/ Sombu     1 teaspoon
    4    Ginger     1 inch
    5    Chilli Powder     1 teaspoon
    6    Curry Leaves     1 spring
    7    Salt     As Required
    8        Oil     For Frying

Preparation :

1) Remove the skin of the beetroots, wash it and then shred/scrap it.
2) In a mixer, blend the fennel seeds and ginger.
3) Add the roasted grams in the mixer. Finely powder all these three items.
4) Add this powder to the shredded beetroot.
5) Add required salt and chilli powder. Mix it well without adding water.
6) Make it into small balls, flatten them and deep fry in oil.
