Today i was in a mood to prepare cake.. I always used to make cake with eggs, but this time i thought to try eggless cake and luckily i had a tin of condensed milk in my refrigerator... :-) Then i surfed thro the internet and i took the recipe from "www.cookingandme.com". But i made some alterations and i did this version. It came out well.. :-) Now lets get into the recipe..
Ingredients :
Preparation :
1) Sieve the Maida 2 times along with baking powder, coco powder & cooking soda.
2) Grease a plate with butter & sprinkle some maida on it. Keep it aside.
3) Slightly melt the Butter and add it along with the Condensed milk then Mix well.
4) Add the sieved flour & pepsi alternatively to this butter mixture and mix well without lumps.
5) Add Vanilla essence & Mix softly till it comes to a batter consitency.
6) Pour this batter in the greased plate & bake for 45 minutes.
7) You can check the cake by inserting a knife in the middle of the cake. If it comes out clean, the cake is ready. You can cool it & then serve.
I decorated the cake with chopped cashew nuts & jam, it gave a crunchy feel in each bite. You can also melt some dark chocolate & coat it over the cake. Surprisingly, this Eggless cake came out so soft..!! :-)
