Vegetable Cutlet

Hi Friends..
Today I'm gonna share "Vegetable cutlet" recipe with you all. This is a very popular Indian dish, which is very popular in International cuisines also. Cutlet is of two types - The Vegetarian version and The Non vegetarian version. The Non Veg cutlet can be made with fish, chicken, mutton, beef and even prawn. Today i will give you the recipe of "Veg Cutlet". This is a best way, to make your kids eat vegetables.. :-) Now lets move on with our recipe..
Ingredients :
    1     Potato     2(medium sized)
2     Mixed Vegetables          2 cups (choppped)
    3     Corinander     2 tbsp
4     Green Chili     2 (finely chopped)
5     Ginger     1 tbsp (finely chopped)
    6     Garam Masala     1/2 tsp
    7     Maida     3 tbsp
    8     Bread Crumbs     1 cup
    9     Salt     As Required
    10         Oil     For shallow frying
    11     Bread Slices     3-4

Preparation :

1) Boil Potatoes, and peel the skin. Take it in a bowl and mash well.
2) Boil the chopped vegetables (carrot, beans, green peas)  in a cooker. Keep it for 2 whistles.
3) Drain out the excess water from the vegetables. Add this along with the mashed potato and mix well.
4) Add required salt and mash the vegetables very well, using your hands.
5) Add chopped coriander, green chillies and garam masala. Mix it together and make it blend along with the vegetables.
6) Crush the bread slices using your hands. Add this with the vegetables and mix well. (Bread slices are added to give a grip to the dough, so that it wont loosen up when you put it in the oil).
7) Take the maida in a bowl, mix it with water and make a watery dough.
8) Now make small ball shaped cutlets and flatten it between your hands.
9) Dip this in maida flour and roll it in bread crunbs.
10) Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry these cutlets.

Delicious cutlets are ready to be served. You can serve it with tomato sauce or any dips of your choice.
